Art on Full Ground 2022

In 2022, the fifth edition took place at STECK, a garden center on the outskirts of Utrecht.

UtrechtDownUnder: Art on Full Ground was an exhibition at a garden center exploring the relationship between humans and nature. Amidst the greenery of garden center “Steck,” 25 artists showcased their work reflecting on their connection to nature. Scientific knowledge, romance, and even fear of nature were all addressed. Installations, films, performances, tapestries, and drawings nestled among the plants in and around the greenhouses and vegetable gardens. In the parking lot, impressive works made from recycled materials were on display.

*Art on Fertile Ground* took place during STECK’s regular opening hours. In addition, there was a supplementary program of lectures, artists’ films, wandering tours, and workshops.
